11

Crispy, seasoned, and perfect for dipping, these homemade air fryer potato chips are a flavorful alternative to store-bought snacks. Made with A Cut Above® Fresh-Cut Sliced Potatoes and paired with a smoky chipotle sour cream dip, this easy potato recipe is perfect for parties, game days, or an afternoon snack.

Ingredients

For this recipe, you’ll need:

For the Potato Chips:

  • 1 (1 lb.) package A Cut Above® Fresh-Cut Sliced Potatoes
  • 1½ tablespoons olive or avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon steakhouse seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt, or to taste

For the Chipotle Sour Cream:

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon adobo sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

1. Season the Potato Slices

Pat the sliced potatoes dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Place them in a large bowl and gently toss with olive oil and steakhouse seasoning until evenly coated.

2. Prepare the Air Fryer

Preheat your air fryer to 375°F. Arrange the potato slices in a single layer in the basket, working in batches if necessary.

3. Air-Fry Until Crispy

Cook for approximately 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the potato slices are golden brown and crispy. Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the slices. Remove any thinner slices that finish cooking early.

4. Make the Chipotle Sour Cream

While the potatoes cook, combine sour cream, chopped chipotle pepper, adobo sauce, lime juice, and salt in a small bowl. Stir until smooth and creamy.

5. Serve and Enjoy

Transfer the crispy potato chips to a serving platter and serve alongside the chipotle sour cream for dipping.
