Ingredients

For this recipe, you’ll need:

1. Prepare the Potatoes

Microwave the Flavorables® potatoes according to the package directions, about 5 minutes, or until fork-tender.

Transfer the cooked potatoes to a cutting board and gently smash them with the back of a measuring cup or sturdy spatula until mostly broken down but still slightly chunky.

2. Make the Waffle Mixture

Place the smashed potatoes into a large mixing bowl.

Add the shredded cheddar cheese, egg, and the included Butter-licious Garlic & Herb seasoning packet.

Fold in the sliced green onions and mix until everything is evenly combined.

3. Cook the Potato Waffle

Preheat and lightly grease your waffle iron with cooking spray or oil.

Spread the potato mixture evenly across the waffle iron, gently pressing it toward the edges.

Close the lid and cook until the waffle is golden brown, crisp on the outside, and heated through.

4. Add the Toppings

Carefully remove the potato waffle from the waffle iron and transfer it to a serving plate.

Top with your favorite crispy fried chicken bites.

5. Finish and Serve

Drizzle generously with honey and serve immediately while the waffle is hot and crispy.

Take your savory potato waffle to the next level with these delicious additions!

Hot Honey: Swap regular honey for hot honey to add a sweet kick of heat.

Extra Cheese: Sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan or pepper jack before serving.

Fresh Herbs: Garnish with chopped chives, parsley, or thyme for a fresh finish.

Brunch Style: Top with a fried egg for an even heartier breakfast or brunch.
